In collaboration with AIDES, an association fighting against HIV, this feature film brings together over 30 artists to explore the freedom to love beyond stereotypes. Desire, passion, break-ups, Grand Amour or the modern version of the freedom to love. All stories are told across genders and sexualities.

Ana and Yves loved each other passionately, then parted ways. Years later, their daughter Cécile made a documentary about their meeting. They meet again. Still scarred by their past love, they set out to find a way back to each other.

Un matin de novembre 1975, une jeune femme, Ana, rentre chez elle, les joues en feu d’avoir dansé toute la nuit. Cécile les filme séparément et les questionne sur ce qui pour elle est de l’ordre de la légende : leur rencontre. Dans les souvenirs d’Ana et de Yves rien ne coïncide, et pourtant tout coïncide. Évoquer ces instants les remet en contact avec la force du sentiment.

This three-part movie begins with a young woman married to an older, cold-hearted man in the year 1200. Two rivals have a swordfight over the affections of the woman. Part two takes place in 1910 and finds an amorously unfaithful wife taking on her many lovers while her unsuspecting husband lurks nearby. The final part finds a count and countess engaging in extramarital affairs in France during the 1840s.

After her gynecologist tells her that her current involuntary celibacy could result in her being unable to enjoy sex in the future, Eva begins to consider ways that she could take active steps to get some action going in that area. Unfortunately, none of the men she currently knows are interested in going to bed with her, including her business partner, who just might be sexually attracted to trees but certainly isn't to her. That being the case, it is particularly galling that he gets jealous at the very notion of her having sex with business clients. Eva discusses these issues (and a great deal more) with her similarly forty-ish gal-pals.

In the piano-making town of Grand, Pennsylvania, Janice Pasetti keeps house for factory owner Harris Weldon, his newlywed niece and her husband, while raising her teenage daughter.
